Born in Santa Cruz in 2010, Ride Engine set the benchmark with the first hard-shell kitesurfing harness—a design that changed how a harness should fit and perform.

The rigid back plate locks the harness to your body, stops it riding up, and allows a narrower profile for freedom of movement—goodbye hip and rib bruising. Paired with the Unity spreader bar system (fixed hook for freeride or sliding rope for waves), Ride Engine keeps you secure without restricting your style.
